Vira Ann Caldwell, 73, Hopkinsville, passed away on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, in Hopkinsville, KY.
Vira, the daughter of the late Peter and Roberta Caldwell, was born on April 23, 1952, in Christian County, KY.
At an early age, Vira joined the St John Baptist Church and later united with the Church of Jesus. She was employed in the Culinary Department at KP Services, Fort Campbell. She enjoyed playing cards and watching TV.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Peter Caldwell, Warren Caldwell, and Gregory Caldwell.
Survivors include her children, Octavia (Frank) Williams, Kahdijah Caldwell, and Dayron Caldwell; brother, Wayne (Cynthia) Caldwell; 14 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews.
Gamble Funeral Home in Hopkinsville is in charge of the arrangements.
Funeral services will be on Tuesday, October 14, at 1:00 pm at the funeral home.
Burial will follow in the Cave Springs Cemetery.
