A Clarksville man was charged with drug possession after a report of a disturbance on Mandarin Drive in Oak Grove on Wednesday morning.
Oak Grove Police say they were called to the home for 31-year-old Demonta Haynes, who was causing a problem, and the owner wanted him to go to the hospital for an evaluation.
After going to the hospital and reportedly refusing care, he was taken back to the home, but could not get inside, so he broke a window to get inside.
Police say he was arrested for disorderly conduct and criminal mischief, and while at the jail, he was found to have suspected meth and drug paraphernalia on him.
Haynes is lodged in the jail on charges of possession of meth, first-degree promoting contraband, second-degree disorderly conduct, and second-degree criminal mischief.
