Two Women Charged After Argument Over Parking Space

Two Murfreesboro, Tennessee, women were charged after an incident at Walmart in Oak Grove involving a handgun on Monday afternoon.

Oak Grove Police say 26-year-old Zyaire Smith, along with 25-year-old Shyann Lewis, got into an argument with a woman over a parking space and Smith brandished a firearm.

When confronted by law enforcement, Smith reportedly resisted arrest and started yelling.

Police say Smith was arrested and continued yelling, kicking the cruiser door. The magazine reportedly found with the handgun was loaded with hollow-point ammunition.

They were both arrested, and Smith was charged with second-degree disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, first-degree wanton endangerment, and using restricted ammunition during a felony.

Lewis was arrested and charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and using restricted ammunition during a felony.
