A Hopkinsville woman was charged with fleeing from law enforcement while being stopped due to active warrants on West 2nd Street Monday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say they noticed 23-year-old Jalayshia Bussell walking and attempted to stop her due to having three active warrants for failure to appear, and she fled, running into the river.
She was located and taken into custody on the charge of second-degree fleeing or evading police.
