A crash involving a tractor on Cadiz Road sent two people to the hospital on Wednesday afternoon.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say at 2:58 pm, an eastbound SUV driven by Jesse Doughty of Paducah was passing a slow-moving vehicle when it collided with a tractor driven by Samuel Steger that was pulling a disc at the intersection of Ed Smith Road.
Doughty had to be cut from his vehicle by Christian County Rescue before he and his passenger, Mariana Campbell of Hopkinsville, were taken by Hopkinsville EMS to Jennie Stuart Health for treatment.
Hopkinsville Fire Department Spokesman Captain Payton Rogers says Doughty who is in his 30’s suffered a head injury and Campbell had side pain.
