A search of an Adams Mill Road home led to drug charges for a Cadiz man and woman on Friday morning.
Trigg County Sheriff’s deputies say they went to the home of 30-year-old Preston Hightower with a search warrant and located him and his fiancée, 35-year-old Tana Stewart, on the property.
After a search of the home and all of the property, Deputies say guns, a large amount of suspected meth, marijuana, an unknown substance in a pill bottle, ammunition, a digital scale, along with other items consistent with trafficking drugs were found.
Hightower was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, first-degree possession of a controlled substance, and trafficking meth.
Stewart was also arrested and charged with possession of marijuana, first-degree possession of a controlled substance, and trafficking meth.
