The burn ban in Christian County was lifted on Wednesday afternoon.
According to the order filed by Judge-Executive Jerry Gilliam, the ban was lifted after recent rainfall, which reduced the risk of wildfires. Gilliam added that while the ban is no longer in effect, residents should use caution when conducting outdoor burning.
