Trigg County residents who need to properly dispose of hazardous chemicals will have a chance during a special event coming up the first week of October.
Trigg County Solid Waste Coordinator Ron Brown says the event is limited to Trigg County residents only.
Brown says there are some items that cannot be accepted.
He says there is no cost for county residents to dispose of hazardous waste.
The hazardous waste recycling event will take place October 4 at the Trigg County road garage off old Highway 68 near Cadiz.
