Leslie Dawn Somers, age 47, of Cadiz, KY, passed away on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, IN.
Born on October 19, 1977, in Henderson, KY, she was the beloved daughter of Ruben Gray and May Rawhoof Gray.
Leslie previously worked as a grocery store clerk. She was a member of the Eddy Creek Baptist Church in Caldwell County.
Leslie loved spending time outdoors. She enjoyed camping, fishing, and 4-wheeling and loved to go to the family deer farm, where she pitched in and lent a helping hand. Her children and grandchildren were her greatest joy and the light of her life.
She is survived by her children, Cierra Somers (Jimmy Duncan) of Chapmansboro, TN and Austin Somers of Murray, KY; her grandsons, James Duncan, IV and Brantley Somers; her parents, Ruben & May Rawhoof Gray of Trigg County; her brother, Stephen Gray (Rochelle) of Providence, KY and her sisters, Shawna Kincadie (Adrian) and Michelle Ball (David), both of Henderson.
There will be no services at this time.
Goodwin Funeral Home, 138 Main Street in Cadiz, is in care of the arrangements.
