Funeral Services for 86-year-old Chilton Pettus McCauley of Pembroke will be Saturday, September 13, at 12.30 pm. at Adams and Sons Mortuary.
Burial will follow in Pembroke Union Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 10:30 till the funeral time.
Chilton was the son of the late Alice Pettus McCauley and Evader McCauley Sr.
He was preceded in death by his siblings, Carl Edward, Russell, Harry Lee, Evader McCauley Jr., Nannie Bell Tapp, and Rowell Dowdell.
He retired from Western State as a custodian.
Chilton enjoyed fishing, watching wrestling and westerns, and playing bingo.
He is survived by his devoted nieces, Yvette Dowdell, Renee Jimerson, and long-time caregiver, Fredessa Young.
