Kentucky Agriculture Commissioner Jonathon Shell will kick off the Trigg County Festival at the annual chamber breakfast.
Commissioner Shell’s office confirmed his attendance Monday morning.
The annual breakfast is a project of the Trigg County Chamber of Commerce and will be held at the Lexie Bush Convention Center at the Trigg County Recreation Complex on Thursday, October 9.
Trigg County Chamber Membership Director Tara Rhodes-Hall says they are excited to help kick off the Trigg County Ham Festival each year.
Rhodes-Hall says the annual breakfast is made possible by two strong supporters.
The breakfast will also include the 4-H Country Ham auction and the presentation of awards for Farmer of the Year, Farm Mom of the Year, and Spirit of the Ham Festival.
