
The Pennyrile Democratic Woman’s Club will host its Annual Ned Breathitt Dinner and Silent Auction on Saturday, October 11, beginning at 5:30 p.m. at Pioneer Inc., which is on 204 North Main Street in Hopkinsville.
This year’s event will feature guest speaker and retired basketball coach Tommy Wade, who will share remarks on leadership, civic engagement and the importance of community service.
The evening will include dinner, fellowship, and a Silent Auction with a variety of items and experiences. Proceeds will support the Club’s local outreach and advocacy work.
A highlight of the program will be the presentation of the Ned Breathitt Community Human Rights Award, which honors an individual who reflects the late Governor Breathitt’s legacy of justice, equality, and public service.
The Pennyrile Democratic Woman’s Club is dedicated to civic engagement, education, and advocacy, working to empower women and strengthen communities through progressive action and meaningful service.
