
A Hopkinsville man was charged after he reportedly fled from law enforcement on a bicycle during a traffic stop on Wednesday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say they attempted to stop 48-year-old Ricky Combs, who was riding a bicycle on West 7th Street and had disregarded a stop sign.
He reportedly fled but was apprehended after being tased on East 9th Street. Police say he was in possession of synthetic drugs and meth.
Combs was arrested and charged with third-degree fleeing or evading police, possession of meth second offense, disregarding a stop sign, and possession of synthetic drugs. He also had warrants for parole violation and failure to appear.
