Bro. Ronnie Fox, 68, of Eddyville

Bro. Ronnie Fox, a devoted servant of God, passed away peacefully on August 23, 2025, at the age of 68 in Eddyville, KY. Born on October 14, 1956, in Lamasco, KY, he was a man whose life was a testament to his unwavering faith and the love he had for his family and friends.

Ronnie dedicated 25 years of his life ministering to the congregation of Crider Baptist Church and continued to spread the word of God as the assistant minister at Eddyville Second Baptist Church. His commitment to his faith was evident in every aspect of his life. During his calling to ministry, he served his community as a compassionate Funeral Director at Morgan’s Funeral Home, a role in which he provided comfort to many during their times of loss.

A man of many interests, Ronnie enjoyed fishing, being in God’s nature, and cherished the moments he spent on vacation in Gatlinburg. His hobbies of collecting coins and stamps were more than pastimes; they were extensions of his love for history and the stories they represented.

Ronnie was a proud alumnus of Mid Continent University, where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree. His education further fueled his passion for helping others and led him to a life of service and ministry that touched countless lives.

Brother Ronnie Fox will be remembered as a faith-filled and friendly individual whose presence brought comfort and joy to those around him. His life was a living example of Christian values and the power of kindness. As we bid farewell to this extraordinary man, we celebrate the profound impact he made on his family, his church, and his community. Ronnie’s spirit will forever be a guiding light for all who were blessed to know him.

He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Mayrene Thompson Fox, and his cherished daughter, Hannah Fox of Princeton. His legacy continues through his brothers, Billy (Faye) Fox and Deon (Sue Gail) Fox, both of Cadiz, and his adored grandchildren, Shayden Stallins, Mayetta Stallins, and Sullivyn Cox, all of Princeton. Ronnie’s memory will also be treasured by his several nieces and nephews; brother-in-law, Franklin Kilgore of Paducah.

Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, J.C. and Geneva Hall Fox, his sisters, Dathel Kilgore and Martha Sue Fox, and his brother, Don Fox. They have now welcomed him into the heavenly kingdom with open arms.

Visitation for Bro. Ronnie will be held from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at Morgan’s Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at Morgan’s Funeral Home with Bro. Mac Walls and Bro. Dean Ray officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Spring Church Cemetery.
