Tommy Dunn, age 82, of Cadiz, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at Christian Health Center in Hopkinsville, Kentucky.
He was born on March 24, 1943, in Trigg County, to the late Thomas Dunn and Pearl Thomas Dunn.
A 1961 graduate of Trigg County High School, Tommy dedicated 38 years of his life to working at Pennyrile Rural Electric, where he was known for his strong work ethic and friendly demeanor.
Tommy was a devoted member of Cadiz Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved spending time with his family and cherished his role as "Granddad" to his grandson and great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers-in-law, Ronnie Henry and Paul Stallons.
He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Marian Sumner Dunn of Cadiz; his daughter, Amy Graves (Howard) of Tiki Island, TX; his grandson, Jordan McNichols (Bonnie); three great-grandchildren, Palmer, Collins & Sloane McNichols; his brother, Hugh Early Dunn (Teresa), and his sisters, Carolyn Stallons, Alice Guess (Paul), and Suzanne Henry, all of Cadiz.
Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., 138 Main Street in Cadiz, where the family will receive friends after 4:00 PM on Saturday, August 2, 2025. There will be no formal service.
