A local church is preparing to welcome dozens of children for a week of music, faith, and fun.
First United Methodist Church in Hopkinsville will be teaching children the ins and outs of musical production.
Charlotte Powell, Director of Children’s Ministries, says it will be an exciting week.
click to download audioThe camp is open to children from pre-K-4 through 8th grade. This year’s musical is Jonah’s Druthers—a western-themed retelling of the story of Jonah.
click to download audioChildren will begin each day with praise and worship before heading to breakout sessions that include music, art, choreography, and games.
click to download audioA highlight this year is a visit from Kids Blitz Ministries on Wednesday—offering energetic games that teach biblical principles. A free family event, called Fam Blitz, will be held that evening.
