A traffic stop on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Way led to drug charges for a Hopkinsville man Friday night.

Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say they stopped a vehicle driven by 32-year-old Daniel Eslick for an expired registration and unverified insurance.

During the stop, he told deputies he had meth and marijuana and it was located in the center console.

Eslick was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana, possession of meth, no insurance, and no registration receipt.
