Three Hopkinsville police officers received the life-saving award for their actions in saving a man on June 4th.
Hopkinsville Police say Officers Jesse Bufford and Michael Ferrell performed CPR on an unresponsive man while Officer Bryce McLaughlin administered Narcan until EMS arrived.
Their courage and lack of hesitation, police say, saved the life of the man while upholding their oath to protect and serve the community.
Their Sergeant Jaritt Beasley says he is very proud of them for their growth and for stepping up and being ready when duty called.
