
The Disaster Recovery Center in Trigg County will close permanently at 7 p.m. Central Time Saturday, June 28.
Until then, the center will remain open during normal operating hours, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., at the Trigg Emergency Operations Center on 39 Jefferson Street.
The center offers in-person help for residents needing assistance with FEMA applications, checking the status of a claim, understanding FEMA letters, and receiving referrals to other recovery resources.
Representatives from FEMA, the U.S. Small Business Administration, and state recovery programs are available to help residents impacted by recent storms.

The deadline to apply for FEMA assistance related to damage or losses from the May tornadoes is Tuesday, July 2.
