A traffic stop on Wharton Road in Trigg County led to drug charges for a Cadiz man Sunday afternoon.
Trigg County Sheriff’s deputies say they stopped a vehicle driven by 54-year-old Thomas Dailey Jr. for a seat belt violation, and during the stop, he gave deputies consent to search the vehicle.
A flashlight containing meth, a glass pipe with residue in it, and a half of a hydrocodone pill were reportedly found in the truck.
Dailey was arrested and charged with failure to wear seat belts, possession of meth and hydrocodone.
