Wally Harris, 77, of Caldwell County

Wally Harris, age 77, of Caldwell County, passed away on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at Baptist Health of Paducah.

Wally was born on February 25, 1948, in Clarksville, TN, to the late Chester and Betsy Pendleton Harris. Wally proudly served his nation in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. Once home, Wally would soon begin a successful career at the Princeton Water Treatment Plant, retiring as a Class II Operator. He was a Civil War enthusiast who enjoyed watching documentaries on television, reading about the subject, and, most of all, participating in multiple reenactments with his wife, Sharon. In addition, Wally enjoyed going every year to the Great Smoky Mountains. Wally was a member of Fairview Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Sharon Rogers Harris; sister, Patricia Murphy of Hopkinsville, KY; special friends, Beverly Lowery and Josh Strong; four-legged children, Lucy and Emma.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 23, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Morgan’s Funeral Home in Princeton.

Funeral services will follow at 1:00 PM with Bro. Jeff Boone and Bro. Bill Bruce officiating. Burial will follow in Rogers Cemetery in Christian County with military honors.

Morgan’s Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
