James E. Hare, Jr., age 55, of Hopkinsville, passed away Monday, June 16, 2025, at his home of natural causes.
The family has chosen cremation with a Graveside Committal Service to be held on June 23, 2025, at 10:00 AM with military honors at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West with entombment to follow. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements.
Mr. Hare was born in Elizabeth City, NC, on August 1, 1969, the son of the late James Elvin Hare, Sr. and Hazel Meekins Hare. James was a proud veteran of the United States Army where he served for over 9 years. He worked and was a production associate at Martinrea and was of the Protestant Faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Jill Joanna Hare in 2017.
Survivors include his brother, John Wesley “Wes” Hare of Wilmington, NC; and his sister, Lisa Lee Hare Bendel of Louisburg, NC.
