Visit Hopkinsville Preparing to Host First Ever GoblinCon

Hopkinsville is getting ready to welcome believers, skeptics, and the just plain curious to a celebration of the weird and wonderful with a brand new event called GoblinCon.

It’s part paranormal expo, part hometown celebration. GoblinCon is a two-day festival paying tribute to the 70th anniversary of the legendary Kelly-Hopkinsville Encounter—a supposed alien visit that’s now part of local lore.

Amy Rogers, Executive Director of Visit Hopkinsville, says the event is about more than just UFO sightings—it’s about embracing the region’s rich and quirky history.
