Stephanie Moore King of Cadiz, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, her 58th birthday, at her home in Cadiz. Born in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, on May 27, 1967, she was the daughter of Rosella Thomas Bush and the late Gayle Trice Moore.
A lifelong resident of Trigg County, Stephanie married her high school sweetheart, Bobby King, on December 10, 1983. She became a mother to two children, Josh and Victoria. Stephanie loved being a wife and mother. Her family was the centerpiece of her world.
A 1985 graduate of Trigg County High School, Stephanie owned and operated her own children’s clothing store, Victoria’s Boutique, affectionately named after her daughter. She also worked as a Cingular Wireless agent and a real estate agent.
Stephanie was a member of Canton Baptist Church. She was an avid reader, enjoyed crafting, and took pride in her beautiful flower garden. She loved to travel with Bobby when they had the opportunity and enjoyed decorating her home.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Don Bush; her paternal grandparents, Bill and Thelma Moore, and her maternal grandparents, Oscar and Willie Mae Thomas.
Stephanie is survived by her beloved husband of 41 years, Bobby King, and her children, Josh King and Victoria K. Marlowe (Nick), all of Cadiz. She was a proud Grammy to her grandchildren, Alyssa Howle King and Mia & Lyla Marlowe. She is also survived by her mother, Rosella Bush, and her sister, Ashley Moore, both of Cadiz; her mother-in-law, Sue King, and sisters-in-law, Penny Stallons (Bill) and Cammy Latham (Jeff Oliver) all of Cadiz.
Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., 138 Main Street in Cadiz, where the family will receive friends after 4:00 PM on Friday, May 30, 2025. Funeral services will be at Goodwin Funeral Home at 11:00 AM, Saturday, May 31, 2025, with Rev. John Mitchell and Rev. Bob McIntosh officiating. Burial will follow in Lucian Thomas Cemetery.
