Communities across western Kentucky will pause Monday to remember those who died fighting for our country.
Memorial Day services are planned for Hopkinsville, Cadiz, Princeton, and Fredonia among other communities Monday.
The James Thomas Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution will host their annual Memorial Day Service at West Cadiz Park Monday morning at 10:00. In the event of rain, the service will be moved to the Cadiz Renaissance Center.
Meanwhile VFW Post 1913 will host their annual Memorial Day services at Riverside Cemetery at 9:00 and Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West at 11:00.
Princeton will host a Memorial Day Service at 11:00 Monday morning at the Caldwell County Courthouse.
Fredonia will host their annual Memorial Day Service at 1:00 Monday afternoon at the Veterans Memorial in the community, with a memorial marker dedication set for 2:00 Monday in Fredonia.
