Terrie Renee Jones McGhee, age 54, passed away at JSMC Hospital on May 13, 2025 after a brief illness. She lived most of her life in Kirkmansville, Crofton, and Hopkinsville, KY. Born on January 9, 1971 to John Ray and Bunnie Wells Jones. Terrie married Terry L McGhee in 1999. They enjoyed 25 1/2 years of marriage together and raised two children.
She is survived by her husband: Terry; and their two children: Victoria Lovan and Samuel McGhee all of Hopkinsville, KY.
She is also survived by her mother: Bunnie Hightower; her poppa: Charles Hightower, both of Kelly, KY; her father: John Ray Jones of Kirkmansville, KY; and her sister: Tracey Mitchell of Hopkinsville, KY.
Terrie proudly worked as a homemaker and previously as a factory worker for many years as well. She loved reading, gardening, animals, cooking, and crafts. Terrie was a wonderful wife, the best momma, a trusted friend to everyone who knew her, and a genuinely good woman.
Visitation Friday, May 16 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Dogwood Funeral Home in Crofton with service immediately following at 6:00 p.m. with Rev Ron Hicks officiating. Private burial will be at Macedonia Baptist Church.
