Trigg County Youth Leadership Club members were honored during a recent Trigg County Chamber of Commerce Lunch and Learn meeting.
The club’s twelve participants attended monthly trips to various businesses throughout Cadiz, all of which were sponsored by the Bank of Cadiz and the Chamber. Students were given the opportunity share their favorite trip from throughout the year during the lunch and learn.
Senior Mari Kate Ricks discussed what she learned during the education day.
Joshua Knott, also a senior, explained how his father’s position in the military made the trip to Fort Campbell more interesting.
To be part of the club, students had to fill out an application, undergo an interview, and have a good upstanding within the school system.
More members of the club will be featured daily as they discuss the numerous events which they participated in throughout the school year.
