A Hopkinsville man was assaulted in a burglary on Means Avenue in Hopkinsville Thursday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say someone broke into an apartment and assaulted the man inside by hitting him with a gun.
The man was checked out by Hopkinsville EMS but was not taken to the hospital.
No arrest has been made in the burglary.
