A Cadiz man was severely injured in a collision with a tractor-trailer on US 68 in Trigg County Saturday morning.
Cadiz Police say a tractor-trailer driven by Joseph Oswald of Baytown, Texas, exited onto US 68 from I-24 and was heading westbound when an SUV driven by Terry Powell hit the back of the trailer at the intersection of Broadbent Boulevard.
Powell was trapped and had to be cut from the vehicle by Trigg County Rescue before being taken by ambulance to Trigg County Hospital for possible severe injuries.
Police say Powell was cited to court on the charge of DUI. The crash was reported to authorities at 1:16 am.
