Senator Howell Says Murray State Vet School Proposal In Works

First district State Senator Jason Howell, who serves as chairman of the Senate Agriculture Committee, says the proposal for a Veterinary Medical School at Murray State University is not dead.

Senator Howell says House Bill 400 was a measure to change state statute to allow a vet school by a university other than University of Kentucky and University of Louisville.
