
An Oak Grove man and woman were charged with criminal abuse of a child and trafficking drugs after an investigation on Gleaves Lane Friday morning.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say 26-year-old Valdarious Starks and 27-year-old Vivica Gee were both arrested after an investigation that started with the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office giving information to local deputies leading to a search warrant for the couple’s home.
3100 fentanyl pills, around a pound of meth, money, a gun, and drug paraphernalia were reportedly located inside the house along with one fentanyl pill located in a vehicle.
Deputies say the fentanyl has an approximate value of $31,000 and the meth is believed to have a value of around $6,000.
Three small children were also reportedly in the home at the time of the search.
Starks was arrested and charged with second-degree criminal abuse, trafficking meth, trafficking fentanyl, and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon. Gee was also arrested and charged with second-degree criminal abuse, trafficking meth, and trafficking fentanyl.
