Tennessee Woman Charged With Drug Possession

A Tennessee woman was charged with possession of drugs after she was arrested on outstanding warrants on Sivley Road in Hopkinsville Thursday morning.

Hopkinsville Police say 43-year-old Amanda Thompson was arrested on warrants for probation violation and two counts of failure to appear. While being arrested she admitted to having drugs.
Police say meth and a suspected fentanyl pill were found in her backpack.
She is charged with possession of meth and first-degree possession of a controlled substance (drug unspecified).
