A Hopkinsville man was arrested Monday afternoon on a warrant for assault stating he assaulted a woman with a stick on May 25th.
Hopkinsville Police say 55-year-old John Stacy got into a fight with a woman he was dating and punched her in the mouth causing one of her front teeth to be loose.
He then reportedly struck her in the torso with a wooden stick.
Police say the woman had bruising on her arm from attempting to block the wooden stick and had to have dental work done due to the assault.
Stacy was arrested and charged with second-degree assault (domestic violence).
