United States Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell is continuing to recover at home from his recent fall after he was released from a Washington physical therapy facility Saturday.
According to a statement released Saturday Senator McConnell thanked everyone for their kind wishes, noted his inpatient physical therapy came to an end Saturday, and said he was glad to be home.
The Senator says he will continue to follow the advice of his physical therapists and spend the next few days working for Kentuckians and the Republican Conference from home. Leader McConnell says he is in frequent communication with his Senate colleagues and staff from home and looks forward to returning to the Senate in person soon.
