Man Charged After Pursuit With Law Enforcement In Trigg County

A man was charged after he reportedly led law enforcement on a pursuit in Trigg County Friday night.

Trigg County Sheriff’s deputies say they attempted to stop 28-year-old Jonathan Garner on Tyler Road and he fled turning onto Kentucky 139 then Kentucky 276.

The pursuit reportedly ended when deputies used a precision immobilization technique on P King Road causing the vehicle to overturn and come to a stop.

He was then arrested and taken to Trigg County Hospital to be treated for minor injuries.

Garner is charged with reckless driving, first-degree fleeing or evading police, inadequate silencer (muffler), rear license not illuminated, operating on a suspended or revoked license, improper display of registration plates, failure to register the transfer of a motor vehicle, failure of owner to maintain required insurance, failure to wear seat belts, and third-degree criminal mischief.
