The American Red Cross is continuing its partnership with the NHL’s Nashville Predators Foundation, with plans to host a multi-city blood drive August 15-19.
Clif Redish, interim regional donor services executive for the Red Cross Tennessee Valley Blood Services Region, said the organization is facing an ongoing drop in summer blood supplies, and they’re asking donors to book appointments to give blood or platelettes to help the cause.
More than 40% of the nation’s blood supplies comes from the American Red Cross.
All presenting donors will receive a Predators foam hockey puck while supplies last, and will also receive two pre-season home game tickets, as a thanks for coming to this specific blood drive.
All presenting donors will also be automatically entered into a drawing to win an official American Red Cross logo puck
signed by a current Nashville Predators player, as well as a $10 e-gift card to a merchant of choice.
Another prize package coming from the blood drive: a donor will get a chance to win gas for a year.
