A Trigg County man was injured in a head-on collision in Caldwell County Wednesday morning.
Caldwell County Chief Deputy Chris Noel reports deputies responded to a multi-vehicle collision at the intersection of Cadiz and Hopson roads shortly before 5 a.m. Chief Deputy Noel says his investigation determined that 49-year-old Steavan Holder was traveling north on Cadiz Road when 23-year-old Joseph Chambers, of Cadiz pulled into his path as he attempted to turn onto Hopson Road, causing a head-on collision.
According to Noel, Holder was transported to Caldwell County Medical Center for non-life-threatening injuries. He says Chambers and his passenger, Jonas Stoltzfus, were checked out on the scene by EMS and not transported.
Chief Deputy Noel was assisted on the scene by Caldwell Fire/Rescue and Caldwell EMS.
