The Lake Barkley Chamber of Commerce has announced the inaugural Christmas in July Marina Crawl is set for next month on Lake Barkley.
The event will celebrate the resilience of the lake communities and businesses after the December 2021 tornadoes. Executive Director Deb Domke of the Lake Barkley Chamber of Commerce says this will be an opportunity for everyone to give back to their communities by supporting local businesses.
click to download audioThe event will invite boaters to travel throughout Lake Barkley to participating marinas. Boaters are encouraged to decorate their boat for the chance to win the “Santa’s Sleigh Award”. There will also be many opportunities to win prizes and cash.

The Marina Crawl will be on July 16th starting at 8am. Participants are invited to register their boats with the Lake Barkley Chamber of Commerce for a $25 registration fee.
The participating marinas and resorts are Holiday Hills Resort, Eddy Creek Marina Resort, Kuttawa Harbor Marina, Buzzard Rock Marina Resort, and Green Turtle Bay Resort.
