UHA Class of 2022 Reaches Several Milestones

Thirty-eight University Heights Academy Seniors are taking their next steps into adulthood. The Blazers walked out of the gym for the final time Friday night after several moving speeches and many awards. Headmaster, Beth Unfried says the seniors have done what no other class has, and that’s not just a reference to getting away with a senior prank.

click to download audioTwo seniors – Lauren Sisk and Walter Kunnmann – are National Merit Scholarship Finalists. Graduates will go on to college, the Marines, the Air Force, and work. Unfried says this class also marks a historic moment for the school.

click to download audioSam Cotthoff, Emma Perry, and Piper Hancock were Salutatorians. Haiden Hauret, Kunnman, and Sisk were Valedictorians. Sarah Davis received the Head of School Award. The Daughters of the American Revolution Good Citizen Award was given to Davis as well.

Griffin Moore was chosen as the Norman J Wiedmer Fauculty Award recipient.
