A Hopkinsville man was arrested on a warrant for complicity to an assault Friday night.
Hopkinsville Police say on March 1st 31-year-old James Fourqurean was with someone else who assaulted a woman with a bat or a pole while she was sleeping.
The assault led to the woman having a head injury and needing 11 staples to close the wound.
Fourqurean was charged with complicity to first-degree assault. No other arrests have been made.
Fourqurean also had outstanding warrants for contempt of court and probation violation.
