A report of a vehicle parked behind a home on Indian Avenue in Oak Grove led to the arrest of an Oak Grove man and woman Monday morning.
Christian County Sheriff’s Deputy Clevin Robinson says they were called to the area for a vehicle believed to have led law enforcement on a pursuit the night before.
Further investigation found that the truck had been reported stolen in Nashville and the tag belong to another vehicle.
Robinson says they were able to get a search warrant for the residence and found 27-year-old Alexander Adams and 30-year-old Alesha Fahnestock inside but they would not give law enforcement information about the pursuit.
A small bag of marijuana was reportedly found during the search. They were both arrested and charged with receiving stolen property. Adams was also charged with possession of marijuana.
The pursuit that started Sunday night in the Oak Grove area was called off in Clarksville.
