
A new trial date has been scheduled for a Madisonville man charged with murder at a motel in Hopkinsville in 2018.
Terrance Stepp is accused of the death of 42-year old Tami Dragoo, whose body was found inside a room at King’s Court Motel on Fort Campbell Boulevard on the morning of March 7, 2018.
Stepp’s case was scheduled to go before a jury on Monday, but his defense attorney Michael Thompson asked Christian Circuit Court Judge John Atkins to postpone the trial to allow his client more time to review recorded interviews and videos in the case.

Stepp was indicted by a Christian County grand jury in June 2020 on one count of first-degree murder.
