
Two women were charged after a pursuit in Calloway County Saturday night.
Calloway County Sheriff’s deputies say they attempted to stop 23-year-old Lacey Day of Buchanan, Tennessee for a traffic violation in New Concord and she fled leading them into Henry County, Tennessee before the pursuit ended.
Day and her passenger 40-year-old Kimberly Greenwood of Cadiz were both taken into custody. Deputies say approximately 3 ounces of meth and suspected heroin were found inside the vehicle and 5 ounces of meth were found along the pursuit route.
They were both charged with possession of meth and possession of a controlled substance with the intent to distribute in Tennessee. Day was also charged with vandalism and driving on a suspended license in Tennessee.
Kentucky also charged Day with first-degree fleeing or evading police, trafficking meth, first-degree wanton endangerment, third-degree criminal mischief, and tampering with physical evidence.
