A wreck on East 9th Street in Hopkinsville sent a Hopkinsville woman to the hospital Friday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say 42-year-old Mark Howell of Hopkinsville was eastbound when he struck a vehicle that was stopped in front of him driven by 17-year-old Andrew Wilson of Cadiz.
Wilson’s vehicle then struck a vehicle in front of him driven by 71-year-old Virginia Cox that was stopped to turn into a parking lot.
Cox was taken by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for chest pain. Wilson was checked out by EMS at the scene of the crash.
The wreck happened near Christian Quarry Road just before 4 pm.
