The Christian County Grand Jury returned several indictments Friday, including charges of robbery and sexual abuse.
21-year old Ricky Ray Sanders, of Hopkinsville, was indicted for first-degree burglary, first-degree robbery and fourth-degree assault.
The charges are from November 28 when Hopkinsville Police reported Sanders kicked in the door to his ex-girlfriend’s home while armed with a gun. He reportedly picked up and slammed on the ground before taking her cell phone.
A true bill was returned for 43-year old Larry Rayford on two counts of first-degree sexual abuse, two counts of third-degree rape, and third-degree sodomy.
According to the indictment, Rayford forcibly made sexual contact with a minor between July 1 and October 30, 2020,. The indictment accuses Rayford as a person in a position of authority or position of special trust when he engaged in sexual intercourse with a minor under the age of 18.
