A fifth candidate has filed to run for the District 6 magistrate seat on Trigg County Fiscal Court.
County Clerk Carmen Finley said Will Ezell filed Friday to run on the Republican ticket which now features five candidates for the May 2022 primary election.
Previously filing were Michael Anderson, Billy Calhoun, Lucas Hale, and Dennis Whitten.
Incumbent District 6 Magistrate Larry Lawrence has indicated he will not seek re-election.
The deadline to file for the primary election is January 7.
