A Fort Campbell soldier has been identified by police as the victim of a shooting that occurred Monday in Clarksville.
Police said 26-year-old Tabitha Collard was shot by an unnamed man, who then attempted to take his own life. he was flown to Vanderbilt Medical Center for treatment of his injuries.
The shooting occurred around five Monday evening in the 400 block of Ringgold Road, which is located near the intersection of Fort Campbell Boulevard and the 101st Airborne Division Parkway.
Clarksville Police detectives said this is an isolated incident and there is no threat to the public.
