Authorities have charged a juvenile with murder in connection to a shooting on Fairview Drive in Hopkinsville Monday night.
Hopkinsville Police say 19-year-old Alex Updegrove was shot at least one time at a home near Nelson Drive just before 8 pm. Updegrove was reportedly inside the home when the juvenile threatened to kill him then shot him and fleeing the area before police arrived.
Updegrove was pronounced dead at the scene by the Christian County Coroner’s Office.
The juvenile was located Tuesday and charged with murder.
