A home on South Virginia Street in Hopkinsville was damaged by fire Wednesday afternoon.
Hopkinsville firefighters say smoke was coming from the back of the home at the intersection of East 18th Street when they arrived just before 3 pm. The fire was contained to the kitchen, causing only minor damage.
