Police have released the name of a Hopkinsville man that was killed in a shooting on Hazel Street in Hopkinsville Sunday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say 28-year-old Calvin Buckner was shot in the chest just before 4 am during a party at the 2000 block of Hazel Street.
Buckner was taken by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center where he later died from his injuries.
The road remained blocked for several hours as police collected evidence.
